Christ the King Lutheran Church! In this glad New Year 2025 Tonight 5:30 pm. And tomorrow 9:30 am. We celebrate The 2nd Sunday after Christmas. 2nd Christmas is all about the wisdom of God. And all the texts of the day reflect and exemplify the wisdom that is your salvation. Psalm 119:97-104 quotes our Savior directly speaking of His love for the Father and His Word and Will. Our Old Testament from 1 Kings shows us the humility of wisdom in King Solomon as he gives God all the glory. Saint Paul rises to highest eloquence as he reveals the wisdom of God through the will and word and grace of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And Saint Luke’s magnificent chapter 2 takes us to Passover and the Temple and Jesus there revealing the wisdom of God in Himself the true Messiah. Dear friend please come and enter into the wisdom of God in His Word and Sacrament. Be filled again with Christmas joy. SDG
